Essay

The thesis is a complex general-theoretical research of the place, action and role of law principles in the mechanism of gender equality ensuring in Ukraine. The main aspects of the notions "gender" and "gender equality" development in the political and law context of the society formation have been studied. It is stated that the category of the "gender equality" is shown in different spheres of vital activity that's why the study of the gender equality problems involves the wide spectrum of theories and approaches, among which social and economic, psychological, political and law are mostly significant.
