Essay

The thesis is dedicated to assesment of relationships between proteolysis activity markers in patients with coronary artery disease based on clinical form and the type of revascularization on the further course of the disease. It was found, that increased MMP-9 activity and the MMP-9/MMP-2 value after revascularization are reliably associated with worse tissue perfusion recovery (by myocardial blush grade). Kidney damage is reliably associated with increased MMP-9 activity in chronic CAD patients, and the presence of FFN, stimulating its activity. Preserved renal function in patients with AMI, regardless of the type of revascularization is reliably associated with the FFN presence that stimulates autologic clot lysis and the phagocytes and inflammation activity. The additional determination of MMP-2 activity level and value of MMP-9/MMP-2 interrelation, and TIMP -1 content can help to foresee the speed of the first serious adverse event appearance in patients with various forms of CAD.
