Essay

А theoretical synthesis and experimental investigation of current scientific problems - assessing neurotoxic actions of CdS nanoparticles and CdCl2 salt are presented in the dissertation. Based on the results of experimental research on the background of the introduction to a pregnant female CdS nanoparticles size 4-8, 15-20 nm and CdCl2 salt into the brain of newborn mice signs of severe intoxication and degenerative-dystrophic processes have been found. Neural tissue edema, morphological disorders and neuronal death have been found in the cerebral cortex and hippocampus. The degree of appearance of lesion has pre-dependent nature. The results of research indicate that neurons are most sensitive to intoxication impact of 15-20 nm CdS nanoparticles. Research cytotoxic effect of intoxicants on the culture of the spinal ganglion cells in rats showed that the ІC50 for CdCl2 salt and CdS nanoparticles is 1.6 mg / ml. Drugs "Quercetin" and "Lipin" reduce the degree of cell damage crops only under doses of intoxicants within 1-10 mmol/l. The effectiveness of the experimental pharmacocorrection increases with increasing doses of drugs to 30 mg / ml. It was found that nanosized cadmium may pose a threat to workers; calculated value of the marginally acceptable concentration of the working area for nanoparticles CdS (0,003 mg/m3).
