The scientific data about the functioning mechanisms of the connection of the architecture object with its inherent context, which is perceived by man, were received. The conceptual couple "architectural locality" and "architectural universality" was introduced to the local science. Also the algorithm of the principles of locality and universality realization in contemporary conditions was determinated and the peculiarity of their exploitation in modern architecture was revealed. The results of the research were embed into the study process by schools for higher education. It is reasonable to use the outcome of the research during the development of criterion of estimation rating of architecture proposals, during the preproject analysis and in the exploratory architecture design.
