The thesis is dedicated to the problem of teaching future officers professionally oriented English monologue speech. The methodology of teaching future officers professionally oriented monologue speech was theoretically substantiated, developed and experimentally verified. The current state of teaching future officers English monologue speech has been analyzed. Linguomethodological analysis of 100 military briefings has been made and psychological peculiarities specific for cadets have been specified. It was found out that psychological factors specific for high military establishments influence the process of monologue speech acquisition. Components of content of professionally oriented teaching English monologue speech to cadets have been defined. The stages were specified and subsystem of exercises and the model were developed. The effectiveness of the developed methodology of teaching future officers professionally oriented monologue speech has been verified. Methodological recommendations for teachers of high military establishments have been suggested.
