Essay

This dissertation is dedicated to the creation and development of scientifically-justified development methods and improvements of production schedules for the process of electrode products graphitization in Acheson furnaces. Providing determination of rational operational parameters of the equipment and an improvement in the quality of finished goods, thus saving resources and energy and reducing the effect on the environment. The physical and mathematical model of the process in graphitization in an Acheson furnace, which take into account the coke gasification suction, burning of wood, heat and mass transfer of moisture in bulk materials, and the reduction of metal oxides . This mathematical model is based on a system of equations and heat conductivity, mechanical motion and an equilibrium model based on Drucker - Prager . The numerical MTE model state of Acheson furnaces and to assess their success. Research was carried out on the four campaigns of graphitization in Acheson furnaces. The schemes are: bundling of core ovens graphitization, energy-saving regulations of graphitization, the length of production and the provision of the required product quality and integrity of the stoves.
