In the present work the ideologically and philosophical foundations of the Christian democratic movement in Ukraine are analyzed and systematized. Based on the study of Ukrainian Christian parties, the analysis of their policy documents, the research of conditions of emergence and development of Christian-democratic movement in Ukraine it was made the attempt in the work to recreate a complete picture of their integration social life. It was defined their inconsequence in Ukrainian society. It was analyzed the origin of the political parties of the Christian-democratic trend in the independent Ukraine.
