Gladush G. Formation of tolerance as the condition to overcome aggression in teenage period

The dissertation research deals with the problem of overcoming aggression of teenagers by promoting tolerance as personal quality and social value. The level, types tolerance in adolescence is experimentally detected and the nature of their display on the cognitive, emotional, behavioral levels is analyzed. The presence of significant relationships between the level of tolerance and aggression in teenage period is proved. Based on theoretical and empirical model of antithetical relationship between aggressiveness and tolerance of teens is developed, on which reasonably developed and tested a preventive and corrective program of work aimed at overcoming the behavioral manifestations of aggressive teenagers by developing tolerant traits and moral attitudes. The results of testing of author's program demonstrated the need for its use in the moral and ethical education of teenagers.
