Dissertation implements the historical-and-philosophical research of anthropological content of education in Modern Philosophy (XVII - mid. XVIII cent.). The concept of education and its place in the system of Modern Philosophy was described. The specifics of pedagogical and educational conceptions of thinkers of classical Modern philosophy were revealed. The features of the philosophy of education in the knowledge paradigm of Enlightenment were defined. The dissertation examines the philosophical foundations of pedagogical and educational concepts in the context of the basic ideas of Modern philosophy. The author studies the specifics of education in philosophy as a mean of personal development, as well as its impact on the formation of social relations.The influence of education on society and society's needs in the development of education was analyzed.
