Motruk R. Ethno-cultural factors of professional self-determination of a personality

The conceptual structural and functional model of the influence of ethnic and cultural factors on the system of determination of professional self-determination of a personality in the period of mature adolescence has been grounded in the dissertation. The thesis of selective character of interconnection of ethno-cultural factors with age and individual typological characteristics of students from different areas of higher professional education has been proved on the basis of the extracted criteria that represent independent variables - social (including ethnic) and personal (including narrative) - the identity of the relevant criteria (intentional and personal and sociocultural referentnist and their derivatives) and the dependant variable - a professional identity with the criterion of motivational and professional relevance. The conclusion about reducing the impact of ethnic and cultural factors on professional self-determination of young people from Western region in the age of Postmodern than in an era of Modern hundred years ago has been drawn.
