Genre and style peculiarity of biographic prose by M. Slaboshpytskiy are investigated in the thesis, special features of genre modifications and transformations, poly-stylistic peculiarities, typology, and main features of the novel-biography are accentuated. M. Slaboshpytskiy critic's creative activity realization directions, specific character of factual features reflection, the type of nationally oriented character in artistically-documentary work of the Ukrainian writer, as well as natiocentrical dominating idea of the author are revealed.Creative potential of M. Slaboshpytskiy's biographical prose style is analyzed inclusive of intertextual and intermedial markers, time space and narratological discourses.
