In the thesis the regularities of change of live weight and linear measurements of pigs of Mirgorodska (Mirgorodian) and Large White breed, and hybrid youngsters of the German selection in different age periods of their growth are found, detected biological features of animals on total protein, total lipids and total cholesterol, determined fattening and meat traits, done estimation of pork's quality, got from pigs of different directions of productivity with definition of interbreed peculiarities by the method of ISSR with the possibility of further usage of native and foreign selection pigs in the system of breeding for getting of off-springs with desired productivity.
