Essay

Thesis is devoted to the development and the scientific explanation of the forming of auditory attention to primary school children at the music lessons. Analysis of the status of this problem in scientific literature, the theory and practice of music education, economical essence of concept "auditory attention in primary school children in musical activity", defined its component-based structure, the functions of auditory attention in the musical activities of primary school children. The study developed criteria, indicators and levels of auditory attention to primary school children; creates a diagnostic complex to determine the condition of the researched phenomenon in primary school. A coherent staged methods to primary school children at the music lessons is developed in this dissertation. The methods involves engaging schoolchildren in active participation in various types of musical activities with the aim of forming properties of the studied phenomenon: concentration, stability, selectivity, distribution, switching, and amount of auditory attention. The effectiveness of the proposed technique proved the positive dynamics of levels of auditory attention of primary school children of the experimental group comparing with the control.
