The thesis is devoted to the search for new cardioprotectors with antioxidant mechanism of action of 3-R-8 hydroxymethylxanthines. The optimal conditions for preparing the starting 3-R-8-hydroxymethylxanthines; preparative techniques obtaining 3 aryl-(aralkyl)-8-hydroxymethylxanthines and their functional derivatives. Studied the biological effects of certain laws and derive the relationship "structure-action."
