Dissertation is devoted to the study of violin works by P. Hindemith as the original style of violin writing of the XX th century. The aesthetic roots of this style associated with the traditions of Western European instrumentalism. Relevance of the chosen topic due to the need to increase the interest of performers to this field of creativity of P. Hindemith, as well as the study of its specific interaction with violin different styles context of the twentieth century. Paul Hindemith, the outstanding German composer, versatile musician, educator, public figure, the author of theoretical works, is one of the most consistent neoclassical composers. He synthesize in his violin works the traditions of previous epochs: Baroque, Classicism, Romanticism, petting them in a spirit of modernity and his own extraordinary style. In the dissertation there are studied sonatas for violin and piano in Es, in D, in E, in C, concerto for violin and orchestra. It is presented intonation and dramaturgical analysis of these works in connection with the violin means of musical expression. It is revealed the role of the violin part in Hindemith's chamber works, the specific interpretation of genres.
