Essay

In the thesis research the author has studied the characteristics of the unification of international private law rules under the auspices of the Hague Conference on Private International Law in the modern conditions of the development of society. Besides, the author has conducted a legal analysis of the new Hague Conventions adopted at the beginning of the XXI century. In the thesis the author paid attention to the analysis of the perspectives of unification of private international law by the Hague Conference, to the foundation of main tendencies of the future activities of the Hague Conference which were laid down in the XXI century. Taking into consideration the euro-integration aspirations of Ukraine, the author analyzed the history of development, perspectives of cooperation, theoretical and practical aspects of relations between the European Union and the Hague Conference on Private International Law, the author justified the necessity of active organizational and legal cooperation between Ukraine and the Hague Conference which will allow to take part in the multilateral international cooperation.
