An object is a set of scientific views on property in Ukraine at the end of ХІХ and beginning of ХХ century. Research purpose - identification of the main trends and factors of process of formation of the market concept of property in economic thought of Ukraine at the end of ХІХ and beginning of ХХ century, disclosure of essence and features of its basic provisions, theoretical generalization and an assessment of a contribution to their development of Ukrainian scientists in the context of improving of modern scientific ensuring of property reform in Ukraine.
