Thesis for the PhD degree of Biology by specialty 03.00.20 - biotechnology. - Zabolotny Institute of Microbiology and Virology of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, Kyiv, 2014. The thesis is devoted to the development of an ELISA test kits for the diagnosis of HSV-2 on the basis of the original biological components. The recombinant proteins Gal-HSV2gG and GST-HSV2gG - analogs of HSV-2 glycoprotein G were obtained with the use of expression system of E.coli bacteria cells. Horseradish peroxidase-labeled conjugates were synthesized with the use monoclonal antibodies recognizing human immunoglobulin G. The ELISA test kit "DIA®-HSV2-IgG" was applied in the production, patented and registered in Ukraine, Russia and Belarus.
