Essay

The dissertation generalizes the results of investigating the epizootology, pathogenesis, diagnostics and treatment of gastro-intestinal nematodoses in geese in the conditions of the central region of Ukraine. Spreading, species composition, seasonal and age dynamics have been studied, and the dependence of the poultry infestation level on the form of property of geese farms has been proved. It has been found, that gastro-intestinal nematodoses in geese are caused by pathogenic agents Amidostomum anseris, Ganguleterakis dispar, Trichostrongylus tenuis and of genus Capillaria and also their associative forms of invasion. The improved method of post-mortem diagnostics of amidostomosis in geese, which improves the results of investigations, has been suggested. Morphological and biochemical blood indicators have been studied and patho-morphologic changes in the organs and tissues of geese infected with gastro-intestinal nematodoses have been found, where amidostomi, ganguleterakes and trichostrongyles prevailed. The expediency of using anti-gelminthic preparations of Ukrainian producers scientific and production firm "Brovapharma": Brovarmectinum-granulate, Brovadasolum, Brovalsenum and private company "Product": Levamisolum-plus 10 % to treat amidostomosis-ganguleterakis associations in geese has been grounded. The results of hematological investigations prove the improvement of the organism state in poultry, freed from the effect of helminths.
