Essay

Object - a process of synchronization of spatially separated standards of time and frequency using phase measurements of signal delay time for signals of common sources. Purpose - improving the passive systems of synchronization through the use of phase measurements of the offset of spatially separated (reference) standards of time and frequency. Methods - probability theory, mathematical statistics, theory of time, spectral and correlation analysis, mathematical modeling of processes, numerical analysis, experimental studies. Results - a model of passive phase system of synchronization using digital quadrature processing of signals has been developed; a model for the study of multipath radiowave propagation effect on the errors of passive phase synchronization system has been developed; a model for the study of synchronization errors has been improved, in which scale offset evaluation was performed based on the location of the received signals envelope maximum. Implementation - in research activity at KNURE and at the National Scientific Centre "Institute of Metrology", and in the training course "Radio Navigation Networks and Synchronization Systems" at KNURE. Application - time and frequency metrology
