For the first time identified clinico-pathogenetic features of diastolic heart failure in 124 hypertensives. Study of cytokine disbalance depending on the type of insulinemia and heart failure functional class allowed more to determine mechanisms of metabolic disorders in these patients and to identify relationships between different pathogenetic links. For the first time given clinical-pathogenetic rationale used in the complex treatment of hypertensives with diastolic heart failure and insulin resistance telmisartan, torasemid, atorvastatin.
