Popova O. The principles of the Loft formation in the reorganization of industrial facilities.

The thesis deals with the characteristics and principles of the loft formation in the reorganization of industrial facilities. As a result of the conducted analysis of the modern state of science and practice from probed problematic, the insufficient determined that the loft as a mean of reorganization of industrial facilities is the most appropriate variant for large cities, as it allows to solve a number of problems. The basic tendencies for modern loft formation such as: classification on the indexes of comfort - elite housing and social housing, various approaches on stylistic features - minimalistic approach and authentic industrial approach are find out. The main and supplementary factors which influence on forming of composition plan and volume of spatial structures of loft were clarified. The analysis of practical far- and close-abroad experience is carried out that allows to identify the basic functional types of loft-objects: housing loft and commercial loft. It was shown that the aesthetic and ecological improvement of architectural environment of former industrial complexes. On the basis of the conducted research the main principles of loft forming were identified: the principle of environmental comfort, the principle of historical maintenance, the principle of artistic expressiveness, the principle of information values, the principle of ecological efficiency. The concept of formation of the main types of lofts that meets the requirements of modern Ukrainian society such is worked out.
