Essay

The dissertation deals with examination of the Second Rich Pospolyta legislation in the sphere of legal regulation of the linguistic relations which is done on the grounds of the analysis of normative and legal acts, archival sources and special literature. The narrowing of the legal status of the Ukrainian language in the Second Rich Pospolyta in comparison with the one in Austria-Hungary is proved. The essential imperfection of the linguistic legislation of the Second Rich Pospolyta was non-conformity of acts of the official interpretation and enforcement acts to the linguistic laws; legal norms of the linguistic laws didn’t comply with the Constitutional acts of the state.
