Essay

The study attempts to eliminate the contradiction between the contemporary influx of the diversified English borrowings and the lack of their registration in the new lexicographical Ukrainian sources. The multidimensional approach to systematize the Anglicisms is applied by means of providing English-Ukrainian counterparts, describing the thematic importance, performing etymological and/or cognitive analysis, and supplying examples of using such language items in the Ukrainian media.
