Object of research: the public policy areas of branding as a factor of social development. Objective: is the theoretical basis of the content of public policy areas of branding and developing a mechanism for its formation and implementation in modern conditions. Methods: analysis and synthesis, historical, modeling, system approach, comparative analysis. Results: justified by the content of public policy areas of branding and the mechanism of its formation and implementation. Novelty: a mechanism of formation and implementation of public policy areas of branding, improved maintenance of machinery of government branding areas; got further development directions for the formation and implementation of public policies branding territories of Ukraine, based on strategic vision, etc. Activities implemented in the Kharkiv Regional State Administration and the International Programs Center of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine. Fields of application: public administration, local government, training and retraining of civil servants, local government officials.
