Gorbatiy M. Assessment of biochemical changes in prostate gland secret in diagnostics of chronic recurrent prostatitis.

Indexes which characterized a functional condition of a prostate gland and local immune processes were investigated in dissertation work in 150 patients with chronic abacterial prostatitis and 55 people of control group. As a result data were received concerning violations of the cytokine cascade in development of lesion of a prostate gland in patients with chronic prostatitis. Pathogenetic factors were revealed by results of statistical data processing which define formation of violations in a prostate gland, and also promote development of recurrence of a disease. Predictive value of indicators IL-1beta, IL-6, IL-4, TNF-alfa and sIgA of secret of a prostate gland was shown for establishment of reliable risk of an exacerbation of chronic prostatitis. Interrelation between levels of cytokines, sIgA and parameters of inflammation activity in patients with chronic prostatitis was established. Correlation between formation and progressing of chronic prostatitis and extent of immunological violations was defined for the purpose of prevention of recurrence and formation of complications of a disease
