Perepelytsia D. Prisoning in the Mechanism of Criminogenic Determination: Characteristics and Counteraction

Comprehensive characteristic of social and psychological nature of prisoning is provided in the paper; its broad and narrow understanding is formed; the current state is described. Peculiarities of its reproduction at the individual level are researched; its role in the mechanism of crime's determination is characterized. The characteristic of penitentiary and beyond penitentiary factors of prisoning is presented. The concept of prisoning counteraction based on liberal and humanitarian strategies of special and criminological, individual prevention of its reproduction is elaborated. New directions and measures of improving preventive activity are offered.
