Essay

The thesis is dedicated to updating the diagnostic measures and prognosis of outcome of ischemic supratentorial stroke acute period on the basis of integral estimation of clinical, neurological disorders, bioelectrical brain activity and cerebral blood circulation in dynamics. Informative criteria of ischemic supratentorial stroke acute period outcome prognosis were detected. They take into account the parameters of bioelectrical brain activity and cerebral blood circulation on the 2nd and the 3rd day of the disease and their dynamics on the 5th day. Twenty-four mathematic models in the form of binary logistic regression equations to forecast ischemic supratentorial stroke acute period outcome are developed. They are characterized with the high parameters of sensitivity, specificity and definiteness of prognosis accuracy, are easy to employ in clinical practice and based on the ground of predictors that are received by economical available and noninvasive methods of patient’s condition monitoring in dynamics.
