Object of study: greening process of the cluster formations. Objective: to develop theoretical and research and methodological approaches to ecological and economic assessment of cluster formations in terms of sustainable development. Research Methods and apparatus: a comparative and statistical analysis, systemic-structural and logical analysis of economic and mathematical analysis, analytical, abstract and logical. Theoretical and practical results: the results are in deepening scientific and methodological principles of ecological and economic evaluation of the activity of cluster formations and determining the nature of the cluster because of its eco activities. The novelty: the developed a theoretical and methodological approach to the study of ecological and economic performance of cluster formations basis of which is the integrated assessment of ecological and economic activity based on the use of complex environmental, economic, social, environmental and economic performance of enterprises cluster; the approaches to the evaluation of cluster formations; improved scientific approaches to ecological and economic assessment of cluster formations; had the further development of the classification of cluster formations; had the further development of theoretical and methodological approaches to the principles of the cluster formations. Degree of implementation: development and practical guidelines implemented in the activity: "Promtransenerho" Ltd, Department of Economics Sumy Regional State Administration, in the educational process of SSU. Sectors (industry) use: environmental economics.
