Essay

The object of the Ukrainian phraseologisms denoting the prosperity state; the purpose - is to identify the characteristics of semantic structure and systematic organization phraseological units (FU) denoting the prosperity state; the used methods: linguistic analysis, semantic identification and differentiation, definition-conceptual and distributive analysis, the techniques seme-component analysis and synthesis, the elements of linguistic and cultural analysis; novelty - the complex studying the system of FU denoting the prosperity state has been done in Ukrainian linguistics for the first time; the peculiarities of the internal organization of FU in the phraseologic and semantic field "prosperity" and "poverty" have been determined; the basic theoretical aspects and scientific instruments of the scientific research in terms of phraseology relationship with neighbouring fields of science have been formented; the chosen material has been analyzed from the point of view of semantic analysis, namely: the lexical and thematic groups of FU have been represented considering the influence of the semantics of the main word-component on the integral phraseological meaning; the systematic relations within the phraseosemantic fields, groups and phraseosynonimic lines have been studied; the ideographic analysis has been made and the peculiarities of the ideographic organization of phraseologisms denoting prosperity and poverty have been determined; the ways of denoting the ethnocultural information of the semantics or the studied units have been revealed; results - practical material, the main statements and conclusions of the paper can be used in compiling the phraseological dictionaries as well as in educational process (for manuals, lecture and special courses in Ukrainian phraseology, lexicology, stylistics, linguistic analysis of the text, course papers of diploma papers the philological department); the field is linguistics.
