Dokuchyna T. Creating situation of success in the educational work with mentally retarded children of primary school age

The thesis is devoted to creating situations of success in educational activities of mentally retarded pupils of junior classes in order to form a positive attitude to the success.The thesis contains an analysis of general and special psychological and pedagogical literature of research problem, elucidated relevance and insufficiency research in correctional education. Criteria, indicators and types of attitude to the success of mentally retarded pupils of junior classes have been determined. The thesis determines the state of a problem in practice of special school and showed the absence of a holistic educational impact on pupils in order to stimulate to the achievements of success. In the process of forming experiment were developed and tested pedagogical conditions of creating a situation of success. Analysis of the research has confirmed effectiveness of pedagogical conditions of creating a situation of success for creating a positive attitude to success in educational work with mentally retarded pupils of junior classes.
