The thesis is devoted to theoretical and methodological basis and develop scientific recommendations about improvement of mechanisms of government regulation in the sphere of employment of youth in Ukraine. The directions of improvement of mechanisms of state regulation in the sphere of employment of youth at regional level are offered. The strategic directions of increase of an employment rate of youth in Ukraine are defined. Practical recommendations about improvement and developments of state regulation in the sphere of employment of youth are made.
