The thesis presented materials for the study of epizootic situation intestinal coccidiosis of pigs in west Ukraine, established their age and seasonal features.Improved intravital coproscopical method for diagnosis of coccidiosis in pigs, which provides high compared with traditional methods, the efficiency of detection of oocysts isospora and eimeria in the animal feces.The features of the course of experimental invasion of Isospora suis. Found that the incubation period was 4-5, prepatent - 5-6, patent - 6-10 days, invasion accompanied by signs and symptoms that are characteristic of digestive diseases and erythrocytopenia, hemoglobinemia, leukocytosis, lymphocytosis, eosinophilia, neutropenia, monocytopenia, hypoproteinaemia, increasing the number of erythrocytes with micronuclei, content products of lipid peroxidation, decreased activity of antioxidant enzymes of immune reactivity and natural resistance. It is shown that homogenates of invasive Isospora suis oocysts contains biologically active compounds that possess mutagenic activity with low level. Investigated the therapeutic and prophylactic anticoccidial efficacy for isosporosis and eimeriosis in piglets and its positive impact on the infested animals. Found high disinfecting action of home-produced drug in relation to oocysts Isospora suis.
