Plokhuta T. Test control as a means of diagnostics of students' independent cognitive and creative activity in teaching humanitarian disciplines.

Object - independent cognitive and creative activity of students of higher education institutions; aim - to find out the influence of the developed and scientifically substantiated technology of integral test control on the quality of the process and results of students' independent cognitive and creative activity during their learning Humanities ; methods - theoretical, empirical, of mathematical statistics; novelty - the research has been the first to provide substantiation of the concept ideas of heuristic testing, positive didactic aspects and test control framework of students' cognitive and creative activity in learning Humanities have been proved; specific characteristics of students' independent cognitive and creative activity test control variant suggested by the author - heuristic test task (HTT) have been theoretically analysed. The pedagogical activity notion apparatus used to define students' independent cognitive and creative activity during test control, namely the terms "students' independent cognitive and creative activity", "criteria-diagnostic approach" to the process and results of independent cognitive and creative activity has been specified. The theories of heuristic teaching and pedagogical diagnostics of independent cognitive and creative activity of prospective specialists in learning Humanities have been further analysed; results - the developed and experimentally tested technology of test control of students' independent cognitive and creative activity during their learning Humanities has been implemented in Sumy State University (faculty of foreign philology and social communication), Sumy State Pedagogical University named after A.S. Makarenko (institute of philology, institute of pedagogy and psychology) ; field - pedagogy.
