When we have conducted an immunology research prior to polychemotherapy, we have identified in the patients with Hodgkin's lymphoma the signs of secondary immunodeficiency, which were characterized by T-lymphopenia, imbalances of subset structure of T-lymphocytes, decreased immunoregulatory index CD4/CD8, in-creased concentration of the CІC, mainly due to growth in most pathogenic mid molecule (11S-19S) and small molecule (<11S) immune complexes, decreased phagocytic activity of monocytes. Simultaneously inhibition of interferon system indexes and imbalance of the cytokine profile have been observed. Increased frequency and severity of complications of Hodgkin's lymphoma is precipitated by immunodeficiency of organism and metabolic syndrome, which is generated significantly by decreased antioxidant protection of cells and intensification of lipid peroxidation, due to tissue and hemic hypoxia which is developed as a result of tumor growth and toxic effects of chemotherapeutic agents. Identified deviations of immune and metabolic indexes have been significantly shown in the patients with Hodgkin's lymphoma of the main group, of interim and poor prognosis. Additional use of the combination of glutargin and erbisol in the complex treatment of the patients with Hodgkin's lymphoma, is clinically effective and pathogenetically proved due to the fact that it has conduced to normalization of the clinical and laboratory manifestations of the disease and restoration of metabolic and immunological homeostasis. Our method of treatment of the patients with Hodgkin's lymphoma, using the combination of glutargin and erbisol has advantages over conventional treatment methods: there is no early complications of polychemotherapy, there is a prolonged clinical remission due to correction of immune and oxidant disorders.
