Osipa L. High School Students' Algorithmic Culture Formation in the Process of Solving Computational Problems Using Software Tools

The thesis focuses on theoretical substantiation and practical elaboration of the problem of high school students' algorithmic culture formation in the process of solving computational problems with the use of software tools. The subject matter, structure and content of the algorithmic culture are developed. The criteria and data of high school students' algorithmic culture formation in the process of solving computational problems by software tools have been defined. The research provides theoretical substantiation of teaching conditions of forming high school students' algorithmic culture in the process of solving computational problems with the use of software tools. The model of algorithmic culture formation was substantiated and developed. To implement the model into the educational process, an educational plan of the elective course "Solving Computational Problems Using Software Tools" has been elaborated. It has been proved that the introduction of the course is essential for teaching conditions of high school students' algorithmic culture formation to be implemented.
