Significant impairment of adaptation that manifest themselves in a variety of the basic symptoms and syndromes, require the complex and differentiated approach. In the dissertation theoretical generalisation and the new decision of a scientific problem which consists in research of structural and dynamic features of defense mechanisms, a conformity and interrelation establishment between rigid complexes of mechanisms of defense and psychopathological displays at psychotic disorders, for the purpose of use of a psychodynamic profile of defensiveness of the person as criterion of differential diagnostics psychotic disorders and granting of the psychological help to patients with heavy mental disability is resulted. Diagnosing both disability and "healthy" aspects of a psychodynamic protective profile has given the chance to understand better the world of traumatic experience of the patient and to improve the qualitative analysis of the person, to structure and correct strategy of the psychotherapeutic interventions focused on specific features of the patient, that in turn, the practical application in socially-rehabilitation sphere of rendering of the psychological help has found of patients with heavy mental disability.
