Essay

The dissertation is devoted to the evolution of the theoretical and methodological views on the concept of sustainable development in global and domestic scientific thought, found the main approaches to periods of its formation, the essence of sustainable development, its components, objectives, principles and indicators. The interrelation of sociological concept of sustainable development with socio-economic realities in the process of changing the structure of the modern economy is discovered. The transition preconditions of national economies to sustainable development is defined. For example, it have been analyzed the structural changes of the Group of Seven, small highly developed countries of Europe, Western, Eastern and Central Europe with an average level of economic development, the results of which were justified by their typology subtypes of post-industrial development. The structure of the modern economy of Ukraine and features of structural changes in it considered. As a result of multi-econometric model defined subtype of post-industrial development of the national economy and theoretical recommendations for the formation of ecological oriented structural policies designed.
