Essay

Thesis is devoted to the study of pathogenetic features of acetaminophen hepatotoxicity depending on the age and efficiency of Thiotriazoline as a means of pathogenetic correction. It was found that an acute acetaminophen poisoning that is accompanied by changes in the intensity of microsomal oxidation causes a marked intensification of the processes of lipid peroxidation in blood and liver of rats of different age periods, depletion of enzyme components and non enzymatic antioxidant system links, the disintegration of cellular and subcellular membranes, inhibition of energy processes. Positive impact of Thiotriazoline on the state of metabolic processes, which was affected by the using of toxic dose of acetaminophen, was proven, it was the most expressed in adults, a little less in the young and the least pronounced in older animals.
