Essay

The thesis is devoted to theoretical and methodological basis and development of the scientific and practical recommendations to improve the mechanisms of governmental regulation of the external trade activity in Ukraine. The proposals concerning improvement of the commodity and geographical structure of export and import, increasing of the high-technology export production are developed. The most favorable geographical environment for the external trade activity of Ukraine for the short- and medium-term prospect to overcome the negative external trade balance is substantiated.
