Essay

Dissertation deals with research of the state of the immune and autonomic nervous system in patients with acute ischemic stroke. There are number of regularities in development of immune and autonomic reactions during all acute period of ischemic stroke. Specific changes of immune and autonomic statuses found in patients with acute ischemic stroke, inherent to the patients with right- and lefthemispheric localization of focal ischemia. It was found that changes of immune status in patients with more severe neurological deficit were deeper and of long duration, what in patients with more easy neurological deficit. The comparison with scales of NIHSS, Rankin and Bartel reflected the trend of regression of neurological deficit and level of disability of patients. On results the analysis of the educed changes immune and autonomic statuses the algorithms of prognostication of course and outcome of ischemic stroke are worked out, that it is expedient to use in the diagnostic complex of inspections of patients in the acute period of ischemic stroke.
