The thesis deals with the legal nature of the constitutional and legal immunity as a form of legal immunity, the history of its formation, and the research methodology of these issues. Particular attention is focused on highlighting features of the constitutional and legal immunity, and the study of questions on abuse of constitutional and legal immunity. Implemented the analysis of functions and characteristics of classification of constitutional and legal immunity, and proposed evidence-based recommendations for its improvement.
