The dissertation is the first attempt of comprehensive comparatively-typological research and new reading of Taras Shevchenko and Lesya Ukrainka poetry through the prism of categorical concepts of freedom, free will, time and space, and ethical concepts of good and evil, life and death. The main goal of research is to identify the features of the new quality of these determinants in the creation of the aforementioned artists and clarifying axiological factors features in the Taras Shevchenko and Lesya Ukrainka dominant images system.
