Essay

The thesis is devoted to Maksym Rylsky's idiostyle and the evolution of his early period that spans 1910-1929. The poet's individual style seamlessly combines several stylistic trends, including neoromanticism, symbolism, classicism and distinctly embodies the spirit of the Enlightenment. Stylistic syncretism of M. Rylsky stems from the European culture combined with the Ukrainian artistic traditions, which directly influenced the formation of individual author's dictionary and syntactic features of his works. The thesis implemented an integrated approach to the study of the theme, examined peculiarities of artistic language, investigated versification specifics regarding the meter, strophe, rhyme.
