Object - Tpulmonary tuberculosis at children and teenagers; the purpose - to define a role Immune dysfunction in in the pathogenesis of pulmonary tuberculosisat children and teenagers from contaminated areas, methods - immunological, biochemical, mathematical; results - It examined 100 patients with newly diagnosed pulmonary tuberculosis of children and adolescents as the net so from contaminated areas. We have identified a probable activation of specific humoral immunity and against a background of T-cell immunodeficiency. This indicates an adequate immune response against the pathogen. Specific activation and differentiation of immune cells in patients with pulmonary tuberculosis of children and adolescents leads to increasing levels of interleukins . Increased proinflammatory IL-1? production is insufficient and can lead to profound defects in immune defense in children and adolescents with pulmonary tuberculosis who is living in contaminated areas. Effect of radiation pollution causes a decrease in immune reactivity in children and adolescent patients with pulmonary tuberculosis, namely, T-cell-mediated immunity, decreased proliferative capacity of T lymphocytes , decreased blast transform activity in PPD -L, the increase in the relative amount of tuberculin sensitized T lymphocytes. Revealed strong correlations (45) between indicators of immune and cytokine status in patients with relatively pure radiation areas and the lack of a similar strength of correlations in patients with pulmonary tuberculosis of children and adolescents living in contaminated areas. This points to the mobilization of immune responses in the first case and its absence in the second one.
