Essay

The object - complex sentence with interdependent parts of the modern Ukrainian literary language; the aim is to make a systematic analysis of the basic complex sentences with interdependent parts, to create its multi-dimensional typology; methods that are used: simultaneously descriptive, semantic identification and differentiation, comparison, transformation, simulation; novelty - it is the first time in Ukrainian linguistic when the complex sentence with interdependent parts are under a complex research, based on a functional grammar and categorical theory of the valence compatibility. It has been defined semantic types of predicates that form presented constructions, it has been analyzed their impact on the formation of general semantics of complex sentences with interdependent components, it has been created a formal-grammatical and semantic-syntactic typology of complex sentences with interdependent parts, it has been specified the limits of the analyzed structures in an integrated system of complex sentences of the modern Ukrainian literary language, it has been posted criteria for distinguishing complex sentences with interdependent parts and compound structures; results - practical material, basic states and corollaries of the thesis can be used for creating new grammars of the Ukrainian language, writing textbooks and manuals for high school, making special courses, compiling grammar dictionaries, scientific research of students and postgraduates, as well as in educational process in teaching courses and special courses of syntax of the Ukrainian language; field - linguistics.
