Based on the analysis of professional scientific literature, normative and legal acts of Ukraine and international documents on reform of nursing in the health care system of Ukraine it has been identified the following mechanisms of public administration - legal, social monitoring, economical, organizational, staffing, motivational, marketing - due to which preconditions and improvement of public administration reform and the development of nursing in Ukraine can be available.
