The thesis work discovers the theoretical and methodological approaches to the study of psychological characteristics in the moment of identity crisis in teenagers and creating ways to overcome it. Systematized and generalized scientific views on the concept of "identity", "the crisis of identity" in the investigated age, found out the manysidedness of present-day understanding of the investigated conception. Formulated the model of identity crisis, which empowers comprehensive approach as for the studying the chosen problematic, distinguishes consequences, which are characterized and accompanied by. By the results of empirical research the program of passing through the identity crisis is proposed and approved. Analysed the features of the component structure of the psychological, personal and social identity of teenagers on the stage of passing the crisis. Described the features of exponent identity crisis of teens in selected age categories. Proved there is a significant difference between essential indications of teenagers identity in studying groups on the stage of passing the crisis. Determined psychological conditions of passing and overcoming the identity crisis.
