Larionova S. The Generic and Stylistic Features of Nikolay Klyuev's Poetry

The thesis is devoted to the study of the generic and stylistic features of the lyric and lyric-epic works by N. Klyuev. The specific structure of artistic genres in the artist's creative work has been identified. The peculiarities of lyrical (poem- mourning, poem -song, spiritual poems, and lyrical stories etc.) and lyric-epic genres in his poetry (ballad, narrative poetry) are defined. The influence of folklore and literary traditions on the generic content of Klyuev's work and his "dialogue" with the tradition that led to the creation of synthetic artistic formations is revealed. Within the thesis, the key themes, motifs and images in Klyuev's poetry are studied. The dynamics of image and the ways of expressing the author's position has been investigated within the framework of the thesis. The writer's achievements in the genres of poetry are closely studied in the context of Klyuev's philosophical views, the aesthetic principles of novokrestyanskoy (the new peasant) poetry and the leading generic and stylistic tendencies in Russian literature of the first third of the XXth century.
