Konopelko O. The ideological function of the modern state: theoretical description

The thesis is devoted to the systematic analysis of the theoretical and practical aspects of the modern state's ideological function realization. The basic theoretical and methodological approaches to understanding the phenomenon of ideology are analyzed, the historical stages of its development are described, its forms and functions are systematized. Particular attention is paid to the disclosure of the concept and nature of the ideological function, its place in the system of the modern state's functions, the analysis of the structural components of the ideological functions of the state in terms of a pluralistic democracy, identifying the trends of influence of civil society actors in the formation of ideological policy. The factors that contributed to the formation of specific features of Ukrainian people's outlook and the factors that complicate the creation of a national ideology in modern Ukraine were analyzed. The features of the implementation of the ideological function in different countries are exposed; the conditions and prospects for improving the implementation of the ideological function of the state in Ukraine are defined.
